LOW’S CREEK – Motorists using the R38 road between Barberton and Kaapmuiden are advised to use alternative routes.

According to Const Fikile Lubisi, Low’s Creek police spokesman, residents from the nearby farms, which include KaMashayana, Revolver Creek and KaMadubula, have blocked the road with debris since last night at about 22:00, making it impossible for motorists to pass through.
The residents are protesting for the KaMashayana Farm, where they have resided for years. This is after it was reported that it has been bought by a private owner,” said Lubisi.
Police are monitoring the situation.
