Meet the newly crowned Miss Mpumalanga 2019

What a tough encounter Saturday’s crowning of Miss Mpumalanga 2019 turned out to be like.

The 12 finalists were all beautiful, intelligent and ready for the lucrative prizes which included a brand new vehicle, fully furnished apartment for a year, R120 000 cash prize and various vouchers of expensive utensils that include clothing, hair and beauty products and a study bursary.

20-year-old Emalahleni lass, Kebalepile Ramafoko is the lucky who clinched the crown from 11 other enthusiasts.

“I didn’t expect this, really. I was expecting that someone else would be crowned instead of me, but lo, the crown is mine now. You know what, during the auditions that kicked off in December in my home town, Emalahleni, I went there and gave it all of my ability. I was fortunate to have been selected among the top 25 semi-finalists and had to fight for a place in the top 12 in January here in Mbombela. I envied other girls that I was competing with all along, little did I know that all these preparations for this big day.

“I’m happy it’s finally over and I am more than ready to kick-start my official duties and serve my communities in earnest,” she said bravely.
