Mpumalanga provincial Treasury warns public about false recruitment advertisement
The Mpumalanga Provincial Treasury distances itself from the advertisement for the internship programme, which is currently circulating on social media platforms.
The Department received numerous calls from members of the public enquiring about the purported advert for interns.
The Department has not advertised the internship programme, and in the event, such is required, adverts will be placed on local media and simultaneously posted on the departmental website (https://treasury.mpg.gov.za).

The acting Head Official, Ms Gugu Mashiteng appealed to the public to desist from further circulating these false recruitment adverts as these cause alarm and come with huge inconvenience to prospective applicants.
“The emotional trauma and financial loss to unsuspecting applicants caused by these false recruitment adverts are unfair and unwarranted,” said Ms Mashiteng.
