The Department of Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA) in Mpumalanga mourns the death of Kgoshi Chiloane of the Moletele Traditional Council in Buffelshoek, Bushbuckridge Local Municipality.
The MEC for COGTA, Mr Speedy Mashilo and the provincial house of traditional leaders expressed their condolences to the tribal council.
“The death of Kgoshi Chiloane is a great loss not only to the royal family and the Mapulana clan, but to the entire Institution of Traditional Leadership. He served his community with distinction. We will miss his leadership role and his commitment to work with us as government in our quest to improve the lives of his community in his area of jurisdiction,” Mashilo said.
