Six firearms stolen from a farm in White River

It is alleged that the suspects gained entry after breaking into house.

White River police are looking for unknown suspects who stole six firearms during a house robbery at a farm house along the Kierpesol road between White River and Hazyview.

The incident took place around 01:45 on Monday.

“There was one person in the house who woke up to make himself some tea and that was when he noticed some movements inside the house as it was dark. When he tried to rush back to his bedroom, a knife was placed on his neck by the suspects demanding him to open the safe,” said Sgt Cynthia Mbokodo, spokesperson of White River police.
