Who will be the next face of the City of Excellence?
The outgoing Face of Mbombela king, Bhekuzinde Nobunga is currently contesting for the title of Mr South Africa.
The glamorous second annual Face of the City of Mbombela is already around the corner.
Come November 24, the influential and focused models will be crowned at Emnotweni Arena.
“It is that time of the year again where we get to see young male and female models from Mbombela battle for the crown,” explained the founder Ms Mpumi Nkosi.
This pageant is not only about beauty, but seeks to encourage the youth to refrain
from bad behaviour, including teenage pregnancy and the use of drugs and other substances.
“We decided to decentralise challenges and focus on youth development.” Nkozi added that role models will work hand in hand with the organisers in fighting challenges faced by The youth.
“We need someone who will bring hope to the youth of Mbombela,” she added.
The outgoing queen, Bongiwe Sibeko was one of the Miss Mpumalanga finalists of 2018 and is currently finishing her studies in graphic design.
Tickets to witness this growing pageant are already available at Computicket and Shoprite, costing R200 each. Expect artists galore to entertain the crowd.
