M’langa ambassador to host a fund raising gala
The organisation aims to raise awareness of children with autism. With this particular event they will raise funds to help a mother with an autistic child in KaMagugu.
MBOMBELA – Eulander Nanni, Mrs Mpumalanga 2018 ambassador and the founder of the Xiluva Xamama (translated to mommy’s flower) will on Saturday host the Eat, Drink and Be Giving fundraising gala dinner at the Southern Sun Emnotweni Hotel.
“The theme is red carpet and networking. We aim to raise awareness of children with autism. With this particular event we will raise funds to help a mother with an autistic child in KaMagugu. She loves working with children and is eager to start her own day-care centre and look after kids while their mothers go to work. She will talk more about her life and dream at the event,” explained Nanni.

She added that doctors and parents of children with autism will also share their experiences. “We want the community to start talking about some of the rare diseases
affecting our children, including eating disorders, depression, mental illness and many non-communicable diseases will be tackled by different speakers. Children are the future of the nation and need to be taken care of from younger ages,” she said.
She hopes that guests will come up with suggestions of what to do to help such children in the province.
“We therefore invite everyone from the youth to elders. Let us come together and have a conversation on such topics. Stakeholders and companies willing to come on board and offer assistance on mental illness are welcome to do so,” she said.
