Contractors resume work in KaNyamazane

This follows a week long public protests at KaNyamazane and surroundings by members of the community bemoaning the apparent slow progress of rehabilitating their houses.

The repairing of storm damaged houses in the City of Mbombela has resumed.

Earlier this week Premie, Refilwe Mtsweni visited the project and expressed satisfaction about work being carried out by the appointed contractors.

“The plan is to prioritise all roofless houses especially at Ward 21 and contractors have been instructed to increase their personnel to ensure maximum delivery,” said  Mtsweni.
