A centre that supports vulnerable children has received a boost through a donation from the Government Employees Medical Scheme (GEMS) as part of its annual corporate social investment initiative.

EDWALENI – A centre that supports vulnerable children has received a boost through a donation from the Government Employees Medical Scheme (GEMS) as part of its annual corporate social investment initiative.

Dwaleni community member, Angel Dzimba identified the need for a feeding scheme to assist vulnerable children in her area outside White River.

Founder of Umalusi Life Centre, Angel Dziba, with Dr Guni Goolab, principal officer of GEMS, at an event to mark GEMS’ donation to the centre, which supports vulnerable children.

She founded the Umalusi Life Centre, which currently operates out of a room in her own home.
