The Hazyview police are still investigating a murder case following the discovery of a man’s body near Bongani Hospital’s gate on Tuesday.
The murder of Mr Sipho Mbuyane, a hawker who sells firewood and roof trusses in Alexandria near Mariti had left many in shock.
He was last seen by his family on July 23.

According to a relative of Mbuyane, who spoke on condition of anonymity, this happened at a time when he and others were accused of stealing diesel and a battery from a local businessman.
He also alleges that the local police dragged their feet in following the lead until the deceased was found dead the following day near the hospital gate in another village.
Const Duduzile Malibe spokesperson of Hazyview police station confirmed that the deceased was found near Bongani hospital.
“He had multiple stab wounds on his upper body. The suspects are known, police will make arrests soon,” she said.
