Two Members of the Executive Council, Gillion Mashego and Sasekani Manzini swapped their portfolios at a media briefing today.
This move comes after labour unions, communities and other stakeholders which include opposition parties called for Mashego’s removal. Premier, Refilwe Mtsweni said it is important to maintain the stability in provincial government.

The premier adds and reassures that MEC Manzini has the capacity to turn around the department of health. This is after a question was raised if she is capable as she does not have the experience in the health sector.
