Police discover body with missing arms in Nkomazi River

Police are investigating how the body got in the river and lost both its limbs in the process.

NELSPRUIT – Police discovered the body of a man believed to be linked to the arm that was found on Sunday by fishermen in the Nkomazi River.

Police spokesman, Col Mtsholi Bhembe said the body was discover on Wednesday afternoon, with both arms missing, was found by police divers stuck between the reeds, within a distance of approximately 200 meters upstream from where the arm was found.

Police are investigating how the body got in the river and lost both its limbs in the process.

“The Provincial Commissioner of the police in the Province urged members of the community who may have a missing man estimated between 20 to 28 years of age, who was last wearing a pair of black jeans to contact Lt Col Lindiwe Nobunga at 082 464 6332 or the SAPS Crime Stop Line at 08600 10111,” said Bhembe.
