Death of Comrade Radebe leaves family in shock

Radebe was shot in the head and leg after the suspect allegedly demanded his phone.

After the tragic incident that transpired on Tuesday evening in Roodepoort, Gauteng left a member of the Parliament Goodwill Sibusiso Radebe from Elukwatini dead.

Today we learnt that the Radebe family is heavily grieving after he was shot dead in what has been reported as a robbery. He was shot in the head and leg after the suspect allegedly demanded his phone.

His death took an unexpected turn and left the family heartbroken and weak. Radebe is described as a man that loved his family. Lungile Dube, a family spokesperson in a media statement said his death came at the time when they least expected. “We have lost a brother, a husband, a father, an uncle and a pillar of the family. He was a dedicated cadre of the movement of the African National Congress, SACP and various other affiliate organisations. We hope that the South African Police Service will work tirelessly to bring all those involved in his gruesome murder to book.”

“We would also like to extend our gratitude to the various political organisations especially the African National Congress, friends and colleagues for the support shown so far. Those who wish to visit the family may do so at the deceased’ house in Johannesburg South until further funeral arrangements are revealed, May the soul of Sbusiso Radebe rest in peace Dube added.
