Kasi Kitchen aims at creating more youth employment

The kitchen marks three years of existence this year and it has grown by leaps and bounds.

MSHADZA – As part of celebrating youth day this Saturday, Tyson & Quan’s kitchen aims at creating more youth employment opportunities.

Tyson Mashego, the owner Tyson & Quan’s kitchen is inviting unemployed youth to participate in a programme to develop gardening skills in his backyard garden, for this month.

The kitchen marks three years of existence this year and it has grown by leaps and bounds. It started with Mashego and his partner, but now he has employed four young people.

Mashego said his garden grows peri-peri and green pepper and through this initiative, there will be guarantee job placement for a few underprivileged that deserves a chance to try and better their lives. “Our area has a lot of unemployed youth, I know this may seem small but it is the least I can do right now to try and change the youth’s situation,” he said.
