Four schools burnt this week in Mpumalanga

What concerns the department most is that Ditau Secondary School is amongst the schools which are underperforming in the province.

Three classes at Ditau Secondary School in Shatele, Bushbuckridge Local Municipality were engulfed with fire last night.

“This makes it the fourth school to be shattered in ashes in the past five days something that the Department of education condemns in the strongest possible terms.

What concerns the Department most is that Ditau Secondary School is amongst the schools which are underperforming and that this development compromises efforts aimed at improving learner performance, “says Jasper Zwane spokesperson for the department.
