Katlego Marite (13) who was abducted by unknown men on May 20 has been found.
He was found safe and sound, four days after the incident.
“The circumstances under which he was found are subject to investigation,” said Brig Leonard Hlathi, provincial SAPS spokesperson.
Hlathi added that as soon as the matter was reported, the police management immediately put up a team to look for the teenager as well as the suspects.

“The combined efforts by the police and the community paid off when Marite was found safe and sound. The provincial commissioner commended the community, police as well as the boy’s family members for their integrated and relentless effort in ensuring that Katlego was found,” he said.
Katlego was kidnapped by men travelling in a gold Toyota Corolla while playing with friends not far from his parental home in Tasbet Park in Witbank. The friends rushed to inform his parents immediately after this.
