SBV distances itself from cash-in-transit suspect found with R1,5m
This is after R1,5 million was recovered from a house in Tsakane by the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department. The suspect is alleged to be a security guard who employed by SBV and is involved in CIT robberies around Gauteng.
Following a post that trended on social media on Tuesday morning, the cash services and solutions service provider, SBV distances itself from the suspect stating that he is not their employee.
The company in a tweet said: We’re aware of a tweet that implicates a SBV employee in a recent heist. Authorities have confirmed that THIS IS NOT a SBV employee. Investigations are still underway. Please share. We’re committed to working with authorities to apprehend criminals involved in #CITRobberies.
