Ramaphosa interacts with community in White River

President Cyril Ramaphosa was accompanied by Mpumalanga premier Ms Refilwe Mtshweni and Mbombela mayor Sibusiso Mathonsi.

President Cyril Ramaphosa has congratulated residents from the province who attended the Presidential Walk in White River this morning.

“I am excited that this thing of walking in the morning is taking off even here. It shows that you are alive, active, full of energy and beautiful,” he said to loud applause from the crowd.

In his address, he congratulates Mpumalanga for being a stable province. He said the government is working towards conquering the challenges of unemployment, poverty and inequality. Referring to his latest “Shut up” utterances in parliament, Ramaphosa said: “We told them to shut up and focus on the three challenges,” he said.
