UPDATE: Office of the Premier employees are back to work
During our meeting with management a task team was selected and they will deal with our concerns.
Employees from the Office of the Premier are back at work after a strike that lasted four days.They stopped working last week Monday morning and returned to work on Friday.

“During our negotiations with management, a task team was selected and they will deal with our concerns. We then decided to get back to performing our daily duties,” said Mr Didi Nkosi from the National Education, Health and Allied Workers Union.
Among other things, they were demanding that they are compensated according to the duties they perform and that an evaluation is done.
“The moratorium policy that was introduced in 2013 stipulates that if a worker dies or resigns they are not replaced, which has resulted in workers having a lot of responsibilities.
