BREAKING NEWS: Supermarket blast hospitalises 10 workers

According to workers who spoke on condition of anonymity, the incident happened in the bakery at around 11:40.

BARBERTON – Over 10 workers from the local Pick n Pay have been rushed to Barberton General Hospital following a blast at the supermarket.

It also affected the butchery section. Those injured were transported to the hospital in ambulances.

The local department of labour’s personnel were seen entering the supermarket. Workers claim that they are scared to return to work. The supermarket is currently temporarily closed.

The manager, Graeme Webb could not be reached for comment by the time of going to press.
