The African National Congress distances itself from a terribly written and fake statement circulating on social media allegedly issued out by the office of the Acting Provincial Chairperson.
“We want to put it on record that the ANC has not done any changes in the provincial executive, and has not recalled any mayor or redeployed comrades to be fulltime in the provincial pffice. We urge members of the media, our members and supporters to always verify statements written in the name of the ANC, because it is no longer a secret that we live in an era of fake news,” reads a statement from ANC Provincial Spokesperson Sasekani Manzini.
