Mduduzi Manana launches STEM programme at Emalahleni school

The purpose of the programme is to encourage learners to study science and technology careers in order to close the skills shortage gap in the country.

Mduduzi Manana Foundation launched the STEM programme at DM Motsaosele Secondary School at Emalahleni on Monday.

Grade 12 learners who come from disadvantaged communities were given scientific calculators and mathematics sets. The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) programme is meant to enhance learning capabilities of learners especially those doing Maths and Science.  “They must remain our countries priority if we are to bridge the gap on scarce skills,” said the foundation.
