Radebe vies for deputy chairpersonship

The begging question on everybody’s lips right now is, who is the likely candidate to replace David Mabuza as chairperson and premier in the province?

Member of parliament, Sbusiso Radebe currently serving in the Transport Portfolio Committee is contesting for the provincial deputy chairperson position.

Three candidates’ names who may be elected at the Provincial General Council that will be held on April 7 and 8  have been doing the rounds on social media recently.  Those names include Mandla Ndlovu, Speedy Mashilo and Pat Ngomane.

Radebe was deployed to the portfolio committees on Communication and that of Higher Education and Training in 2009. I also was an alternate at the Portfolio Committee of Public Works and the ICT focus group of Parliament.

In 2010 he was redeployed to remain at Higher Education and Training but was also deployed to the newly re-established Portfolio Committee on Energy. After the 2014 general elections he was deployed to the Portfolio Committee on Transport.
