Sandy Mokwena has died at the age of 68.
According to reports he died this morning after being admitted to hospital earlier this week.
Mokwena has appeared in numerous other television series including Okavango, Generations, Khululeka, Soul City, Going Up, Yizo Yizo, Justice for All and Zero Tolerance.
Sandy toured the world from 1972-1984 with the cast of the hit musical Ipi Tombi, playing the role of Cappie, who was also the narrator. He also featured in films including Taxi to Soweto, The Principal, Dead End and Scarback.
