PHOTOS: The province’s ANC secretary says a PGC to replace the chairperson will be held soon

Members of the ANC in the province will gather on April 7 and 8. The Provincial General Council will be held to replace DD Mabuza his deputy Violet Siwela.

Mpumalanga ANC deputy chairperson Violet Siwela, newly-elected deputy president DD Mabuza and Bohlabela Regional chairperson Gillion Mashego.

The pursuit to replace the newly-elected ANC deputy president DD Mabuza and deputy president Violet Siwela has begun. Various names have been doing the rounds recently. Provincial ANC secretary Mandla Ndlovu said the Provincial General Council will be held on April 7 and 8.

The contenders are:

Peter Nyoni

Mpumalanga Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs head of department and former ANC provincial executive committee member

Sasekani Manzini

ANC spokesperson and Public Works MEC

David Dube

Provincial legislature member and former ANC deputy chairperson.

Fish Mahlalela

Member of Parliament and PEC member.

Pat Ngomana

Safety, Security and Liaison MEC and PEC member.

Cathy Dlamini

Member of Parliament and former Mbombela mayor

Mandla Msibi
