A victory for the Mpumalanga Unity Train
The Mpumalanga Unity Train finally delivered new ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa when they belted out the song, "Siyavuma" all the way to the ballot boxes during voting for the Top Six leaders.
This was a surprise move by a majority of the delegates as Mpumalanga was perceived to be a NDZ supporter instead of CR17 whom they eventually played kingmaker to, thus thrusting the NDZ train in awe.

The composition of the Top Six is a mixture of factions from both ends, hence the unifying notion as highly espoused by DD Mabuza was finally realised.
