David Mabuza distances himself from fake Twitter handle under his name
The Premier believes that the handle was created by bogus and desperate individuals who are hell-bent in falsifying his views on political matters thereby tarnishing his public image.
David Mabuza has noted a fake Twitter handle running online under his name, and wishes to distance himself from it as it does not belong to him nor is his office operating it.
“The Premier wishes to state that his official handle is being operated by his office and has 372 tweets with more than 6 600 followers inclusive of both government and his political party messages,” reads a statement released by his spokesperson, Zibonele Mncwango.

Mabuza urges social media users to unfollow the fake handle as it does not belong to him nor represent his political views, but had been created with the sole intention to confuse, mislead and distract them.
