BREAKING NEWS:Traffic officer knocked down by a taxi

The traffic officer was doing routine checks this morning when he indicated to the taxi driver to pull off the road.

A traffic officer has been knocked down by a taxi driver he tried to pull over at Mkhuhlu, a few kilometres away from the Mpumalanga Traffic Training College on Friday morning.

This happened while they were preparing for traffic officers graduation ceremony later today.

The Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison spokesperson Mr Joseph Mabuza confirmed the accident. “We heard about it however we do not have further information yet,” he said.
