“We see these allegations and fabrications by Phosa as a desperate attempt to rescue a Presidential campaign which died before it came into life,” says the ANC in a statement.
The PEC states that Phosa maliciously accuses the Provincial Chairperson, DD Mabuza of having a personal militia, which goes around disrupting Branch General Meetings (BGM) and intimidating members of the ANC with the intention of achieving certain political outcomes. As the PEC, we would like to put on record that, Cde DD Mabuza does not have a personal militia and is protected by members of the South African Police Service (SAPS), like all Premiers and members of the Executive.
