Manana was ordered to undergo 500 hours of community service and pay compensation for all three victims as well as a fine of R100 000 or a year in prison.

Former Deputy Higher Education Minister Mduduzi exits the Randburg Magistrate’s Court in Johannesburg.

On September 13, Manana was convicted of three counts of assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm after pleading guilty to the charges.

Yesterday was sentenced at the Randburg Magistrate’s Court. Manana was also ordered to pay the victims a total of R26 680,46.
