Residents of the area were happy that Eskom electrified their houses and provided 20A meters for free as a standard practice.
A resident said, “We are happy because our lives will change for the better. I will now buy my own fridge because of Eskom. As of today, I will put a light outside my house to deter criminals. Electricity will provide the light that will enable my children to study.”
