Here are five tips to beef up security

· Increase visibility- One of your greatest tools in the fight against home crimes is light and also trimming away     plants that thugs could use as a hiding place.

· Install an alarm system- Private security firms have a faster response rate than the police in many areas and some     of the top service is panic button.

· Consider a furry or scaly friend- Getting a dog for security purpose doesn’t not have to mean buying a Rottweiler or  Pit Bull, even small dogs are able to give warning signs.

· Secure access points – All windows and doors need security measures too. If you can afford an electric fence it will   give you a peace of mind.

· Think like a burglar –Don’t be afraid to apply serious force on your doors, especially old sliding doors and also     check the strength of your burglar bars.
