Two people died on Wednesday morning around 06h00 when a sedan and a minibus taxi collided head-on on the N4 Toll Road near Machadodorp.
Four more people sustained slight injuries and they are currently receiving treatment in hospitals in Mbombela.

The minibus was reportedly headed to Mozambique while the sedan was from the Mbombela direction.
It is not known what led to the collision and investigations are underway.
