More than 10 girls cried uncontrollably when one of the attendees narrated how she and her friends were sexually abused by a coach they trusted years ago in her community.
“He used to call me and my friends to do his laundry after training and on that day in questions, he came after us and locked us in his bedroom. I had to jump through the window while he raped my friends,” she narrated.

“The sad part is that nobody believed us, even the police didn’t help and said we were just children and didn’t know what we were saying,” she burst into tears. Almost everyone cried such that the program had to be stopped for some time while the girls, Zazi ambassadors and coordinators, comforted one another.
