GOBOZA – A 28-year-old woman was arrested for murder near Zamane in sector 1 yesterday.
It is alleged that the woman had an argument with her boyfriend, and doused him and herself with petrol and set them alight.
The couple was rushed to hospital by an ambulance. The boyfriend later died. The suspect is currently under police guard in the hospital.

According to the spokesperson of Daantjie Police Station, Capt Jabu Ndubane, “We received a complaint. When we arrived at the scene we found the pair with burn wounds. They were rushed to hospital.
A case of murder has been opened as the boyfriend, Cebo Mpila (25), passed away in hospital.”
