Mdzabu Secondary School gets facelift

Community members and parolees from Nkomazi and surrounds dirtied their hands at Mdzabu Secondary School near the border of Swaziland yesterday.

MASIBEKELA – The eager volunteers started with renovations three weeks ago and yesterday Mpumalanga’s safety MEC, Pat Ngomane, took part in efforts to painting walls, installing ceiling, building proper ablution facilities and cleaning the classrooms.
Ngomane said being part of the renovations and donating the equipment are some of his ways of giving back to the community, “I attended this school in 1985 and 1986, and seeing it in the condition that its in, breaks my heart,” he said. Ngomane added that the school is not that old but it is because of negligence that it is in that dilapidated condition.
