Buscor rolls free Wi-fi for passengers

With a fleet of 433 buses, Buscor transports over 180 000 passengers daily and is one of the major employment creators in the province, with over 1 200 employees.

Buscor Chief Executive Officer, Nora Fakude-Nkuna announced that they are currently in a process to pilot the roll-out of free Wi Fi services in all their buses.

“This will help our passengers, especially students to have access to free internet and do their research work whilst aboard our buses. This pilot programme will simultaneously be run by two different companies,” said Fakude-Nkuna.

Fakude-Nkuna said the above as part of celebrating Transport Month. October was declared Transport Month in 2005 by national government during the Transport Lekgotla to campaign and promote public transport as a preferred mode of transport, but above all to raise awareness and promote road safety.
