“Cyril please save us from the Guptas “

They said it’s about time for president Jacob Zuma to restore the dignity of the country by stepping down

MBOMBELA – “Cyril Ramaphosa please save our country from the hands of the Guptas.”
These were the utterances of members of the National Education, Health and Allied Workers Union( NEHAWU) who are gathered outside Government Complex today as part of celebrating their 30th anniversary.
The members indicated that it’s about time for president Jacob Zuma to restore dignity of the country and step down as a president.
Mr Fanie Ngwenya, as representative of NEWAHU said as a union they are not going to fold their arms and allow certain families to control the country.

“We are not going to allow certain families to control the country( Referring to the Zuma family and the Guptas). We are saying president Jacob Zuma must step aside. We want Cyril Ramaphosa as president”.

The gathering was also graced by the second deputy president of COSATU, Ms Zingiswa Losi and the second deputy president of NEHAWU, Nyameka Macanda who said members of the union must not undermine their strength as they played a key role in the struggle of the country.
“We are visiting different provinces as part of celebrating our anniversary and interact with our members and motivate them and find ways of addressing their challenges that they faced which include issues of bargaining councils and training shop steward,”she said.
