Police arrest three suspects for murder

The Pienaar police have made a breakthrough by arresting three suspects who are believed to be the ones behind the brutal killing of Skara Matsebula 26, from Gedlembane. 

The family and neighbours of Matsebula were left in great shock after discovering the body of the deceased lying with burning wounds in the early hours of Sunday.

Also, the house where he was sleeping in, was gutted down by fire and its walls demolished.

According to the brother of the deceased, Fana Matsebula, his brother had a squabble with one of the suspects, a tavern owner. “I never thought that things can go this far resulting in my brother to be killed in this manner. I wish that the perpetrators of such an awful act can rot in jail,” he said.

Meanwhile, the very same suspects, including a woman, are also believed to have burnt down another house belonging to a local sangoma in that area on Tuesday.

They are facing charges of murder and due to appear before the Kanyamazane magistrate’s court today.
