Get your will done for free this week

The Department of Justice and Constitutional Development has called on members of the public to participate in National Wills Week.

The public will be given the opportunity to draft wills for free. The aim of this initiative is to educate people about the importance of drafting wills.

The department said that in the Mpumalanga Province will be scheduled as follows. On the 19th at Middleburg Magistrate Court, 20th at Ermelo Magistrate Court and 22nd at Nkomazi Magistrate Court.

The department will set up desks in communities to help make this initiative accessible to all.

This is a list of things you may want to include in your will.

1. Guardianship of your children.

2. How you want your assets to be
distributed and to whom.

3. The name of the person you’re
appointing to be the executor.

4. The names of your beneficiaries.
