Nkomazi FM receives higher certificates in production

This is a milestone achievement for the station which is among the first radio stations to have undergone such training through NEMISA.

Nkomazi FM’s team is determined to acquiring skills required for the job.

This week three of the station’s employees received their radio production certificates during the Mpumalanga Radio Production Graduation Ceremony, officiated by the Deputy Minister of Telecommunications and Postal Services, Ms Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams on September 2 at the Protea Hotel in Emalahleni.

The station’s manager, Mr Makhosi Zulu, the station’s former technical producer, Mr Given Ngwamba and the station’s breakfast talk host, Mr Banzi Shongwe were honoured with certificates following 12 months of hard work and studying through the National Electronic Media Institute of South Africa (NEMISA).

“We are glad to announce that Banzi is recovering well after being involved in a car accident, he will back to radio soon.

Our station is currently undergoing serious rebranding and certain changes can be expected towards the end of the month,” explained Zulu.
