Best contractors shine at GMA 2017
The Goven Mbeki Awards 2017 set the bar high for contractors of the province to do better
WITBANK-Mec of human settlement,Speedy Mashilo set the bar high for contractors who are going to represent the province at the national Goven Mbeki Awards that will be held in November at the Gallaghar Estates in Midrand.
Speaking at the provincial awards ceremony held yesterday evening at Emalahleni City Hall,Mashilo said it’s about time for contractors to pull up their socks and put the province on the map and scoop awards in various categories. This publication learnt that last year the province walked away with two awards.

“This is to prove that as a province we go beyond measure in terms of ensuring that we deliver quality RDP houses to underprivileged citizens .Our contractors must bring back home numerous awards in various categories at the national Goven Mbeki Awards that will be held last this year.I don’t want to pretend that I was happy with the two awards that we scooped last year,out of 20 categories we only scooped two awards, it is a disgrace. I think this year they can do better.To those contractors who make it today as they are proceeding to the national level, I am challenging them to make history in the province by shining extraordinarily at the national awards, “said Mashilo.

The awards are held to celebrate the hard work and dedication of contractors who are delivering quality houses and it is a way of motivating other contractors to up their game.
