Two young men aged between the ages of 25 and 35 committed suicide on different occasions in the past two weeks at Shabalala Trust outside Mahushu.
One was buried on Saturday and the other one last week.

“Incidents of such a nature are scaring us as a community. This year alone we buried a total of three young men who killed themselves under unclear situations since January.
Hence we need pastors, churches, women in particular to pray against such spirits in our area, we don’t need it,” says Cllr Eric Fankomo addressing hundreds of women who attended a Women’s Conference held at Eagles Christian Centre on Saturday.
Shabalala Trust is not the only community faced with suicide challenges as last week a nine-year-old primary school boy from Khulamlambo Primary School hanged himself at the school premises just a few months after a 12 year old girl from the same school killed herself at her home.
The Wikipedia states that suicide is often committed out of despair, the cause of which is frequently attributed to a mental disorder such as depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder, alcoholism, drug abuse, as well as stress factors including financial difficulties or troubles with interpersonal relationships.
