Oral history conference underway in Ermelo
The conference is aimed at closing the gap that exists in the current written history.
ERMELO- The fourth annual history conference is underway at Ermelo Inn with different researchers sharing the stage about the undocumented history of the province.
Some of the townships that hold a rich history in the province include Driefotein where political activist, Saul Mkhize was gunned down in 1983 by the apartheid government at Calane primary school while he was about to address a political meeting.

The conference is also graced by Dr Peterson Dewa from the University of Zimbabwe.
