R60 000 dagga seized during stop and search

Women in blue uniform are determined to uproot crime as their operation yielded fruitful results

PIENAAR – Five women who were arrested over the weekend for possession of dagga are expected to appear at the Kanyamazane Magistrate’s court today.

This newspaper learnt that the arrest came after women in blue uniform conducted a stop and search on the N4. They stopped a taxi coming from Nkomazi to Johannesburg and burst five women with dagga estimated at a street value of R60 000.

The spokesperson of the Pienaar Cluster, Capt Jabu Ndubane confirmed the incident and indicated that all the suspects are aged between 30-40 years.
