Vodacom takes the blame for disappearing data and airtime

Subscribers of the largest mobile operator took to social media last night ranting and raving over their airtime and data vanishing.

This morning Vodacom promised to refund data and airtime to all customers affected by the technical problem.

The network operator stated it was  aware that some customers were  unable to make use of purchased bundles or are getting depletion notifications and apologised for the inconvenience.

Despite Vodacom taking the blame, some still vented their anger. See below:

“We are currently in the process of completing all credit refunds and reinstating affected data bundles. Apologies for the inconvenience,” wrote Vodacom on their Facebook page 40 minutes ago.
