Employees return to work after illegal strike

The City of Mbombela employees returned to work this morning after a week-long illegal and unprotected strike that commenced on the August 1, 2017, and continuing.

Employees were requested to resume with their normal daily duties today. Failure to heed this request, as indicated on the ultimatum, will result in the employer having to summarily dismiss employees not returning to work and continue with the illegal and unprotected strike.
