Park assistant assaulted by unruly municipal workers

MBOMBELA – Workers from the City of Mbombela Local Municipality who embarked on a strike today allegedly assaulted a parking assistant at Lowveld Hospital.

This publication discovered that the workers who were unruly, wanted to damage a board that belongs to the hospital. It is alleged that one of the parking assistants, Arab Sifundza tried to take the board, but the mob started assaulting him.

“They overpowered me and fell on the ground. Luckily my colleagues came to my rescue.They event tried to brake the parking gates,” said Sifundza.
