Tears of joy as family receives a house

Thekwane South – The days of living in a two-roomed house for a 10-member Ngwenya family is a thing of the past after receiving a brand new home on Friday.
The house was donated to them by Maphuta Construction owner, Mr Tutus Ngwenya to this child-headed family.
Family member, Ms Thembisile Khoza said:: “We were forced to share a two-roomed house in Shishila, but today we are starting a new life. That house used to be flooded during The rainy season ,” she said.
MEC of Human Settlement, Mr Speedy Mashilo said: “Today it has been proven that it takes a village to raise a child.I am so humbled to see a contractor taking money from his pocket and make a difference in the community.”
