SECUNDA – As part of addressing the imbalances of the past, the MEC of human settlements, Mr Speedy Mashilo delivered 500 units to destitute families at Embalenhle Ext 22.
This publication learnt that a majority of the beneficiaries of the RDP houses are pensioners.

This move is part and parcel of the commitment that he made a few months ago during the Oral Reply questions of the MEC at the legislature,w here he emphasised that he is geared and ready to deliver houses to the people.

Mashilo told scores of residents during an Imbizo at the Goven Mbeki Local Municipality that the public engagement event is aimed at creating an opportunity for communities to engage government on service delivery issues.
